Westland Milk Products is a well-known New Zealand end-to-end dairy manufacturer based in the beautiful South Island.

The Role We have a great opportunity for a new Supplier Payments Officer based in Hokitika.
Reporting directly to the General Manager Environment and Milk Supply, this is a critical front-line role in Westland Milk which liaises directly with the lifeblood of our business, our milk suppliers.
The Supplier Payments Officer has the crucial responsibility for ensuring all payments for milk and colostrum are made to our suppliers correctly and on time and will also carry out daily accounting and administration activities, maintain supplier information and respond to suppliers' queries in a timely and courteous fashion.
Responsibilities also include administering the Supplier Committee Election voting process and processing the voting for resolutions when a vote needs to be prepared for a resolution.
Preferred applicants will possess: Previous accounts processing and administration experience (essential) and a strong level of numerical literacy.
Sound computer literacy, including Microsoft Office Suite with intermediate level Excel desirable.
Exceptional interpersonal skills along with a proactive and pragmatic approach.
Great attention to detail along with exceptional problem-solving, communication and relationship-building skills.
A flexible and adaptable approach together with a commitment to quality customer service.
A genuine and authentic nature, a desire to learn and a willingness to help.
