Bowmaster is seeking to employ an experienced Solidworks designer to join its team.
Bowmaster Head Office & Factory is based in Auckland, conveniently located within the Rosebank Road industrial precinct, giving quick access both on and off the motorway (just 10 minutes from the city centre), with lots of easy parking.
The role also has the added advantage of tailored working hours to help avoid the traffic.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Key member of the Team
Carry out 3D design modelling of products
Create workshop drawings using AutoCAD software
Follow instructions and guidance from Senior Design Team
Liaise with manufacturing team
Potentially be involved with 3D scanning both onsite and offsite
Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and update as required
KEY ATTRIBUTES
High standard of presentation and accuracy of work
Practical mindset; a personal interest in making things
AutoCAD experience
Solidworks (or similar) experience of at least 3 years is essential
A structured and organised approach
Able to follow SOPs
Works well under pressure
A knowledge of the marine industry is an advantage but not essential
