Te Turanga - The Role Contribute to the growth and profitability of the Alliance Group by assisting the Senior Supervisor in the planning, leading and organisation of the resources and production of Slaughterboard at our Lorneville Plant. The duties of the role involve: Efficiently manage workforce and resources to ensure optimal operational performance. Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as yield, efficiency, and output quality, and report on them regularly. Monitor and control contamination levels in compliance with food safety standards, ensuring high levels of hygiene and correct and non-compliances. Actively promote a culture of safety and ensure safe work practices are adhered to by all employees with accident reporting, investigation, and resolution, ensuring a safe and compliant work environment. Completion of departmental administration. O pukenga - About You You will have a strong background within a leadership role, preferably within the red meat industry, as well as: A strong understanding of Health and Safety Compliance. Knowledge of NZ Animal Welfare legislation and requirements. Familiarity with MPI requirements. Intermediate-level computer skills (Word, Excel).
