We have an opportunity for a Supervising Customs Officer (SupCO) to be based in Queenstown supporting airport operations.
About this role | Mo tenei turanga mahi We're looking for an experienced people leader who can step into this leadership role and demonstrate on a day-to-day basis great leadership skills.
You will be responsible for driving the capability of your team through supporting and facilitating positive performance outcomes, overseeing talent building and contributing to genuine development opportunities for people.
Leading people is challenging yet rewarding, and we need people who can step in and commit to the responsibilities of being an effective SupCO.
This is an opportunity to develop and grow in your people leadership capability.
This position will be hands-on where you will be managing Customs Officers and Senior Customs Officers in all airport functions at Queenstown.
At times, you will need to step in and help cover all operational roles.
You will work a 6x3 shift pattern reporting to the Queenstown Port Manager.
The starting salary for this role is $87,772 plus Kiwisaver.
In addition, you will be compensated for the hours of work required to do this role - this will equate to approximately $10,000-$13,000 per annum.
