Job Description
The Opportunity
The Submissions Manager reports into the General Manager (New Zealand) and is responsible for managing and coordinating the entire lifecycle of tender submissions and proposals. This role requires a strategic thinker with meticulous attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
The Submissions Manager will ensure that all submissions meet the highest standards of quality and compliance, showcasing the company's capabilities and securing new business opportunities.
Key Accountabilities:
Demonstrated experience managing complex submission processes, including identifying opportunities, developing bid strategies, and coordinating the preparation and submission of proposals.
Actively demonstrate visible, strong and inspiring leadership across the Alliance to develop a high-performing team and actively participate in the implementation of Alliance and High-Performance initiatives.
Monitor and review services delivered by submission teams and resources during EOI and tender preparation to ensure professional and high-quality work; manage performance as required.
Prepare and communicate submission programs with key milestones and ensure deadlines are met.
Support the team throughout interactive programs, including scope of interactives, strategic messaging, presentations, and debriefs.
Produce interactive presentations to a high quality and in an efficient manner, including internal reviews.
Attend and participate in tender interactives and debriefing sessions.
Required Skills and Competencies
Relevant qualifications to undertake the role successfully.
Strong understanding of the civil infrastructure industry, including key players, market trends, and regulatory requirements.
Demonstrated experience managing complex submission processes, including identifying opportunities, developing bid strategies, and coordinating the preparation and submission of proposals.
Ability to interpret technical specifications and project requirements.
Strong analytical skills to evaluate bid opportunities and develop strategic approaches.
Strong leadership skills to inspire and guide team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
