About the role
We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Student Services Receptionist to join our team in 2025 at Ormiston Senior College in Flat Bush, Auckland. As a full-time member of our Student Services team, you will be the first point of contact for our students, parents and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and administrative support.
The starting date would be 28 January 2025. What you'll be doing Greeting and welcoming students, parents, and visitors to the college in a friendly and professional mannerProviding general information and assistance to students, parents, and visitors, directing them to the appropriate resources or staff membersHandling incoming phone calls, emails, and other enquiries, and responding promptly and efficientlyPerforming various administrative tasks, such as data entry, filing, and photocopyingMaintaining the professional appearance and organisation of the Student Services areaPromoting a positive and inclusive school environmentWhat we're looking for Strong customer service skills and a genuine passion for helping othersExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with people of all agesProficient in using Microsoft Office applications and other relevant softwareExperience working in a school with knowledge of the student management system KAMAR an advantageProven organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and work effectively under pressureA positive, friendly, and approachable demeanourPrevious experience in a similar student services or administrative role is highly desirable
