The role Are you passionate about shaping positive learning experiences and ensuring student success? Strategi Institute is seeking an enthusiastic Student Services and Support Manager to lead our student-centered services, driving excellence in enrolment, academic support, and pastoral care. As the go-to person for learners, you'll ensure they are enrolled correctly, welcomed warmly, and set up for success from day one. You and your team will create a supportive learning environment by addressing academic needs through timetables, tutoring programs, workshops, and tailored interventions. You'll also be responsible for promoting mental health and well-being, offering resources and support for learners facing emotional or psychological challenges, and ensuring those with disabilities have equal access to education. Working closely with the Head of Institute, you'll implement innovative initiatives that nurture academic excellence and contribute to Strategi Institute's revenue goals. With a focus on leadership, you'll manage staff training and performance, while facilitating effective communication, resolving conflicts, and addressing learner concerns to maintain a harmonious environment. Key Responsibilities • Oversee enrolment processes and ensure smooth delivery of courses • Provide academic and pastoral support services for both domestic and international students • Design and implement surveys to measure student satisfaction and success • Manage and develop staff through training and performance reviews If you're a dynamic leader ready to make an impact on learner success, apply today and help shape the future of education at Strategi Institute! The ideal person will have experience in (essential)   •  At least 3 years' work experience at an advanced level in an admissions role Demonstrated high ability in leading and managing a team in an area of high-volume workload and high intensity.Demonstrated skills in developing and managing relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders and       cross-functional teams. Significant experience in student services with a focus on quality course advice and support to tertiary students and course admissions and credit processes and an understanding of regulatory and governance frameworks relating to student administration functions Outstanding planning and organisational skills, with experience establishing priorities, allocating resources and meeting deadlines.Demonstrated commitment to quality service, customer care and effective customer liaison  Ideal applicants will also have the following skills • Advanced knowledge and experience in a student management system. • Significant experience using internationally recognised education/qualification databases and the ability to interpret and apply this information to Applications for Enrolment. • Understanding of global English language proficiency assessments and their relevance in the New Zealand context. • Good attention to detail. • Ability to prioritise tasks and multitask effectively. • Proactive with strong self-management skills. • Ability to work flexibly in a professional services environment. • Resilience when working under stress. Additional Information • We are located directly across the road from Westfield Albany Shopping Centre, and Massey University in Albany, Auckland. This position requires on-site work, and remote work options are not available.
