Engco is a rapidly growing engineering consultancy with over 50 staff in three office locations nationally: Christchurch, Queenstown, and Nelson. Engco's tight-knit team includes chartered engineers, design engineers, CAD technicians, geotechnical engineers, and outstanding support people!
Engco has a passion for providing expert advice in technically challenging projects and we want like-minded individuals to deliver these projects and grow with the business. With challenging residential and commercial projects ranging across boutique houses to multi-storey complexes.
The role:
Working with clients, architects, and contractors to achieve the required project outcomes.
Preparing reports, liaising with approving authorities, and assisting clients with the consenting process.
Carrying out site inspections and construction supervision.
Coordinating project and technical delivery as required.
Although our office is based in Queenstown, there is an opportunity for the right person to be based in Wanaka and commute to Queenstown 1-2 times per week.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
A bachelor of Engineering (Civil) or equivalent qualification.
A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in structural engineering.
Strong interpersonal and technical skills.
The ability to think creatively to devise innovative solutions for our clients.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Programs.
Enthusiasm and a willingness to engage in a broad spectrum of structural engineering and design projects.
A detailed understanding of the NZ Engineering environment and local requirements.
To be passionate about providing innovative and accurate engineering solutions for our clients.
These key attributes will also be supported by an interest in developing ongoing relationships with Architects and Consultants. Additionally, you may have acquired your CMEngNZ or be close to completion.
