Your role supports Customer Strategy Design and management of Customer technology budget and forecasting. This is an exciting time to join Mercury as we continually evolve and adapt. You will get to work across all of our Customer business unit to develop an intimate understanding of the whole Customer business while also having the opportunity to participate in customer strategy planning and delivery process and understand how we optimise our spend. This is a great development opportunity and pathway into senior leadership roles.This role can be based in either Auckland or Tauranga. We offer a hybrid flexible working environment where you will have the opportunity to work from home but also still understand the importance and benefits of being in the office to collaborate and share knowledge.Key responsibilities include:Orchestration and facilitation of the Customer Strategy creation, aligning strategic planning and process with execution and delivery.Critical evaluation and ownership of technology budget and forecast to optimise spend in alignment with Customer Strategy and Technology Roadmap.Ongoing evaluation of execution activity against Customer Strategy and Markets specific outcomes, making recommendations for sequencing and future considerations to unlock most value.Support in the development and implementation of the Customer Strategy.We are looking for:Strong experience in a similar role (including strategy or technology) within a large company where you have been exposed to a variety of different and complex systems and requires strong strategic and analytical experienceA tertiary qualification in business, finance, technology or similar related fields. Having a master's degree, such as an MBA would demonstrate broader knowledge and credibility.Extensive experience in the business world, with a deep understanding of business processes, decisions and goal-setting.Natural ability to question and be curious to understand how things work.
