Company DescriptionOur client, the Student Residence Trust Aotearoa, trading as Hatch Student Living, is a "for purpose" organisation, providing accommodation to Wintec students at the Student Village, Wintec Apartments and the Rotokauri Eco Village.Job DescriptionFollowing an organisational review, the fixed term role of Strategic Projects Manager has been established to support the Board to implement their strategic vision by focusing on key strategic projects across development of capital and capacity. Projects may include the development of further student accommodation offerings; the identification and acquisition of property investments (including financial analysis; risk assessments and compliance); and development of the Hatch brand. Reporting to the Board, you will work collaboratively with both internal and external stakeholders cultivating solid relationships whilst building the reputation of Hatch Student Living in the community.QualificationsA solid track record in the development and hands on delivery of strategic plans and projectsStrong financial acumen and experience in funding, property investment and asset managementExceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and nurture collaborative relationshipsMarketing and brand development experienceIdeally you will have a tertiary qualification in a relevant field such as business, finance or marketingAt least 5-7 years' experience in a commercial management roleDemonstrated success in securing charitable or philanthropic funding with strong community networksAdditional InformationIf you have experience in property development or real estate, particularly in the student accommodation area - even better!
