Au Mahi | What You Will Do
As Strategic Change Manager (EBC) you will:
Lead and manage the people side of change to achieve the desired programme outcomes (adoption and usage).
Deliver successful outcomes - they help make the change 'stick' and ensure successful adoption and benefits realisation of changes.
Analyse, plan, implement and evaluate change strategies, facilitating a collaborative approach to change across the organisation and building ownership and capability in change leadership.
This pivotal role is based in Digital Services but works closely with teams and stakeholders across the University as well as in the Digital Services team.
You will be a highly experienced change management professional with at least 7-10 years change management experience leading in large IT business change programmes. An understanding of the Higher Education environment is an advantage. You will also have:
Ability to anticipate and respond to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation and excellence.
Experience of using Prosci ADKAR methodology.
Ability to influence and build productive relationships at the highest levels of the organisation.
Ability to plan and prioritise workloads, working under pressure to meet deadlines and manage various demands.
Ability to lead change and to lead in a team environment.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to write and deliver succinct proposals, plans and communications.
Bachelor's Degree (NZQA Level 7) and Change Management Certification (e.g. Prosci)

You will be part of our Portfolio Management and Delivery practice, sitting within the wider Digital Services team. While you will work in detail with the Digital, Finance, and People & Culture teams, this role is wide ranging, and you will work with people and teams across the University.
