We offer a broad range of wool brokering services delivering seamless access to local and international markets via the technical expertise of its field team and 10 wool stores across the country.About the role: We are seeking an enthusiastic individual, keen to join our team at the Napier Wool Store.
You will have some experience as a storeperson/forklift operator and be able to work autonomously.
A good level of literacy and numeracy is important but you will be given full training on our recording systems.
Upholding excellent health and safety standards is important and you should be eager to participate and learn all aspects of the wool store and wool collection.The duties will include carrying out wool testing processes, assisting with general storeperson tasks, and other wool store dispatch tasks.
You need to be physically fit and be able to follow instructions but use your initiative when it is needed.
There is room for advancement within the Wool Store so if you want future leadership opportunities this could be the role for you.We are looking for the following attributes:Experience using a forklift is an advantage; a F endorsement forklift licence is even better.Level 1 or 2 NCEA (or equivalent) - good with numbers.1-2 years' experience working as a Storeperson.Great attitude towards Health and Safety.Reliable and keen to work as part of a small team.Knowledge or experience in the wool industry is an advantage.A person who is eager to develop skills and knowledge within the wool industry.Able to follow written and verbal instructions.Physically fit as product handling is required.Please apply today with your CV.
