Store Manager - Rangiora - Foodstuffs SIFoodstuffs SI Rangiora4 days agoDescriptionStore Manager - NEW WORLD RangioraWe are seeking an experienced and dynamic Store Manager to lead our team in NEW WORLD Rangiora. This is a senior leadership role that offers opportunities for career growth and development, as well as pathways to store ownership.The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the store and developing a high-performing team through a positive customer- and team-centric approach.Key Responsibilities:Lead, coach, and support the management team, assisted by direct reports of the Fresh Foods manager and Dry Goods manager.Ensure the store meets financial and presentation expectations.Be involved in manager goal setting to ensure required objectives are met.Work with the department management team to achieve company KPIs.Ensure compliance work is undertaken as required.Manage people, including wage and hours budgets, rostering, recruitment, training coordination, performance, and disciplinary management.Requirements:A minimum of five years' experience in a management role leading large teams in a supermarket or retail environment, preferably within the Foodstuffs Group.An eye for detail and ability to guide the presentation of the complete store.Supermarket compliance knowledge, including food safety and health & safety in a retail environment.Exceptional training and communication skills, with the ability to lead from the front.High level of IT systems and computer skills.Personal Attributes:The ability to communicate successfully with a wide range of people, including team members, Department Managers, Business Owners, and external organisations.Excellent oral and written communication skills, with excellent attention to detail.Strong financial and analytical skills.Outstanding planning and organising skills.Strong interpersonal and relationship skills.Team Player – who will support and collaborate effectively.Excellent time management, with the ability to multitask and prioritise.Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience.
