Title: Store Lead (Christchurch Airport)Reporting to an Area Lead, as the Store Manager you will provide day-to-day leadership and performance coaching to our Customer Champions to deliver a world-class experience to our customers and staff. We have ambitious plans to invest in our people, systems and ways of working to create an omni-channel organisation that delivers unparalleled customer and commercial outcomes.
Please note that this role is based in our Christchurch Airport store, which operates Monday to Sunday, therefore flexibility to work late nights, weekends and public holidays is a requirement.
Ko to mahi – what you'll doTake accountability and ownership for the operational running of the storeLead a team of Customer Champions and a Floor LeadWork closely with internal stakeholders to facilitate hiring processes and generate staff rostersEnsure an excellent customer experience is delivered in our retail environment, creating an engaging process where customer needs are met or exceededMonitor and deliver store KPIs and targets. Motivate team members to hit their target with guidance given through 1:1s and ongoing mentoring and coachingFoster a 'customer obsessed' culture within the teamNa tou rourou - what you'll bringNatural people leadership skills with the ability to build a highly engaged and collaborative team.The ability to navigate conflict in high-pressure situationsA flexible & open attitude, driven to help the customer as a priorityExperience of successfully working towards KPIs with the ability to drive others with their targetsStrong people and growth orientation. A desire to support people to be better than they thought possibleMin. 2 years of operational experience in a Retail Sales environment.
