We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Store/Inwards Goods person to join our team. This is a permanent position, Monday – Friday.The Store/Inwards Goods role is a hands-on role that plays a vital part in ensuring stock is accurately managed through the storeroom and onto the shelves for our customers to purchase. You will have strong numeracy skills and show excellent attention to detail. You will need to be confident using technology and have a high level of computer literacy. In this role, you'll need to be organised and systematic when following processes.Your responsibilities will include:Manual shifting, lifting, receiving, dispatching and storing stock within the warehouse.Receipting of stock.Stock and inventory management.Maintaining accurate inventory records.Managing all associated documentation.Facilitating the flow of stock from the stockroom to the floor by working closely with the entire team.Performing all receiving, storage, delivery and paperwork procedures in a timely manner and assisting with stock movements.Maintaining up-to-date and accurate records of inventory.Overseeing and actioning day-to-day storeroom operations.Carrying out any other duties that relate to the overall efficiency of the business.Working hands-on to make sure the storeroom is running smoothly.Assisting with customer service in peak trade periods when required.To be successful in this role you will need:Previous experience in a stockroom (2 years+) in a similar environment would be an advantage.Ability to prioritise daily/weekly workloads.Be comfortable doing a physical job.Understanding of stock management.Strong administrative ability.Exceptional attention to detail.Knowledge of Stock Inventory system, Advance Retail would be an advantage.To be driven and motivated to achieve.Excellent customer service skills as you will be dealing with other stores, carriers and suppliers.The ability to cope well under pressure.If this sounds like something you see yourself doing, get in touch with Tara Stephens at ****** online for this role or contact Tara Stephens for more information.
