Project co-ordination support for Regulatory Services Support high priority workstreams for DOC Based in Wellington Our vision: Nature is thriving in Aotearoa Te Oranga o te Ao Turoa. He angitutanga About the role: As the Statutory Support Officer, you will provide project co-ordination and administrative support for our Regulatory Services teams with a particular focus on supporting the implementation of the incoming Fast Track legislation.

This role will include P.A support to our manager, administrative support to the team, and some financial processing. A large part of the role will be co-ordinating processes and workstreams, including new work as a result of the Fast Track legislation.

You may also be called on to support responses to Official Information Act, Ministerial and Parliamentary Question responses, and part of the role will entail drafting documents such as newsletters, surveys, presentations, website content, and reports.

With a number of tasks on the go at any one time, you will be someone who loves variety, can think on your feet, is fairly unflappable, and comfortable in changing direction to reprioritise as needed.

This role is one of a network of similar roles supporting the Office of Regulatory Services, meaning you will have a network of colleagues to learn from as you settle into your role.

You may be called upon to support any of our Managers or teams, ensuring you will have variety across the work you are asked to undertake.

You're as cool as a cucumber under pressure and managing multiple tasks, and have a strength in written communication and document presentation.

Specifically, we're looking for the following experience when assessing applications:

Experience providing administrative support to either a manager or team within a large complex organisation. Experience in coordinating formal documents such as OIAs, Ministerial or PQ requests, or similar where accuracy, speed and collation of various inputs is required. Experience in collating reports and assisting with finance processing. Successful experience working within a busy team environment that has required slick organisational and prioritising skills to meet business critical deadlines. The salary range for this position is $60,314 to $75,603 with the starting salary of the successful applicant being based on their level of relevant skills and experience.
