He angitutanga: About the Role
As our Statutory Process Support Officer, you'll gain a unique insight into the variety of work DoC does across the motu, and how our most challenging statutory issues are approached and resolved. Our team manage the entry of work into DOC's permitting system, which includes triage, risk assessment, and assigning permits or concession applications for a variety of activities that we regulate or authorise throughout Aotearoa.
In this role you will be responsible for careful entry of text, cross checking information with other systems and databases, as well as some basic invoicing and reporting. You'll be using mapping systems and applying rules and triggers to figure out next steps in our application processes. As we are guided and constrained by legislation, your ability to follow process and understand the implications if that doesn't happen will be key to your success in this role.
You're comfy with the usual Microsoft Office software, you're definitely not scared of picking up the phone, and you meticulously "dot your i's and cross your t's".

The starting salary of the successful applicant will be negotiated based on their level of relevant skills and experience. The salary range is: $60,314 – $75,603.
