This exciting role involves leading and managing our school's sports programmes and overseeing a team that facilitates and co-ordinates various sporting codes.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee the organisation, scheduling, and co-ordination of all sports activities, teams, and events.Provide leadership, guidance and support to students and coaches.Manage the sports budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources, equipment and facilities.Build and maintain relationships with local sports clubs, community organisations, and other groups.Ensure all sports activities comply with health and safety and promote the well-being of students and staff.Leading staff sports co-ordinators to facilitate the co-ordination of the various sporting codes.Skills and Qualifications RequiredStrong leadership and organisational skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate students, coaches, and staff.Experience in sports administration, preferably within an educational setting, including the co-ordination and delivery of sports programmes.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships within the school and the broader community.Passionate about engaging and supporting students.Professionalism and confidentiality.Experience in coaching sports and sport management, preferably in an educational setting.Knowledge of sports rules, regulations and safety protocols.If you are a passionate and experienced sports professional ready to take on a leadership role, we would love to hear from you!
