Nau mai, haere mai ki Te Whatu Ora – Capital, Coast & Hutt Valley District Location: Hutt Hospital, Lower Hutt Service:  Rheumatology Contract: Permanent, Part-time 0.6 FTE Salary: NZNO Meca - $95,576-106,016 pro rata Korero mo te turanga – About the role An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our small team of senior nurses within the Wellington Regional Rheumatology Unit.
The SCN role will provide the opportunity to challenge and extend your clinical skills within a supportive environment, support patients and clinicians working in secondary and primary care and contribute to quality improvement and the overall growth of the service.
We have a strong commitment to clinical excellence and ongoing education, and are happy to support the development of an experienced RN looking to step into a senior nursing role.
Mo to matou ropu – About our team The Wellington Regional Rheumatology Unit is a regional service, based at Hutt Hospital, with clinics held across the sub-region at Hutt, Wellington and Kenepuru Hospitals and in Greytown.
Our SCNs work in both nurse-led and combined Rheumatology outpatient clinics, alongside a supportive team of SMOs.
Mou – About you The successful candidate will have a passion for working alongside those with long-term health conditions and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care.
They must hold a New Zealand Registered Nurse practising certificate.
You will be currently working in a senior nursing role or have a desire to step into a senior nursing role within a supportive environment.
Post-graduate qualification or willingness to work towards a post-graduate qualification is preferred.
Someone well suited to this role will place a high value on equity, innovation and critical thinking.
