About this role
The role of Specialist – Procurement (Contracts) is to plan, develop and manage contract arrangements to effectively meet all TWoA contract requirements. The primary function is to ensure that all contracts for Kaiako and external stakeholders comply with both TWoA policies and legislative requirements and to ensure all Contracts for Service requests align with relevant TWoA policy, procedure, and compliance. This role will also ensure the Contracts Register and the Delegations of Financial Authority database is maintained, and reporting completed.
About you
To be successful in this role you will have:
A qualification in Contract or Business Management
Working knowledge (4+ years) in drafting contracts for services and variations
Experience (4+ years) in providing training or guidance on the contract process and procurement procedures to kaimahi
Confidence (2-4 years) with contract management tools and systems
Advanced communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
As a kaupapa Maori organisation, your willingness to participate in cultural activities and develop an understanding of Ahuatanga Maori (values, culture and tikanga) is desirable.
