Nau mai haere mai ki ta matou whanau |Welcome to our Fulton Hogan Family We're seeking an experienced Specialist Operator (Excavator) with proven exposure to the Water Supply sector to join us at Fulton Hogan based in the Auckland Region.
We have ongoing project work on both small and large complex site installations of water metering ranging from 15mm up to 150mm, including new watermains, across Auckland.
The project scope will vary from job to job and each job is to be treated as its own individual job.
Due to the variability in each job, a good understanding of the relevant Watercare Standards is a must to ensure accurate excavation of work.
The successfully applicant must have a proven track record in a fast-paced environment dealing with live water services.In addition to the above you will: Be operating plant machinery through excavating to expose various types of pipework and materialsBe interpreting complex site and service plans to ensure installations are correct whilst excavatingOperate on brownfield sites with complex existing services including, high pressure gas, high voltage, sewer, and telecom services, and identify solutions to site issues.Backfill and excavate trenches, footpaths, and carriageways in relation to the best practices set out by Watercare's General Civil Construction Standard and Reinstatement Utilities Code of PracticeProvide clear communicate towards our client and their various customers whilst on-site or when pre-planning a job.Conduct general labour duties and drive a class 2 truck at times, when required to ensure timely completion of the project schedule Good Work equals Good BenefitsMedical insurance for you and your whanau.
