Job Description: Formwork Carpenters You will be required to undertake the following tasks; *Construct formwork using traditional timber methods or steel panel system*Construct formwork using DOKA, PERI, RMD systems*Able to read blue prints*Safely use power tools to complete the works*Able to work with a large or small crew*Able to tie & fix steel reinforcing*Able to place concrete Our preferred workforce are trade qualified with proven experience in reinforced concrete, formwork, super structure and sub structure, preferably with a civil contractor or a commercial subcontractor that are specialists in these areas of delivery. Reporting to the site foreman, you must be able to read drawings, order materials and manage yourself including productivity and Health & Safety. Above all else you need to be able to demonstrate a reputable track record in concrete construction. The successful applicant will be required to complete a pre-employment medical test including drug screening, and be eligible to work in New Zealand either as a resident or by holding a current work visa. *$30 - $35 per hour*Minimum 30 hours per week.
