Specialist Literacy & Mathematics Teacher Part time, Permanent, FTTE up to: 0.8 Primary and intermediate (Years 1–8) / kura tuatahi, Certificated teacher English, Mathematics and Statistics King's School is an Independent Boys School (Y0–8) seeking an experienced and passionate educator to join our team as a Specialist Literacy and Mathematics Teacher.
The ideal candidate will be skilled in providing remedial teaching and accelerating student learning through evidence-based practices.
You will work with students who need targeted support in literacy and numeracy, helping to close learning gaps and boost achievement.
Key Responsibilities: Delivering individualised and group instruction in literacy and mathematics.
Using proven, research-based methods to support students in need of remedial help or accelerated learning.
Collaborating frequently with classroom teachers and parents to create personalised learning plans that ensure student success.
Reporting accurately on progress made and next learning steps.
This is a Monday to Thursday (0.8) position commencing term 1 2025.
