Are you a productive problem solver with a passion for making a difference in education? We are seeking a hands-on SENCo to join our team and lead inclusive practices at our school.
As our SENCo, you will be at the heart of creating an inclusive, supportive learning environment where every student can thrive.
You will:
Coordinate support for students with diverse learning needs, ensuring their individual education plans (IEPs) are effective and achievable
Work closely with teachers, support staff, whanau, and external agencies to develop and implement strategies that enhance learning outcomes
Drive a culture of inclusion, empathy and high expectations across the school community
You are:
An effective leader: You can manage people with empathy and purpose, build strong relationships, and motivate others
A problem solver: You approach challenges with creativity, resilience, and a can-do attitude
Have a solid understanding of diverse learning needs, IEPs, and strategies for inclusion
Organised and proactive: You manage competing priorities with efficiency and focus, ensuring deadlines are met
Position start date term 1, 2025 or as negotiated.
