We are looking for a Kitchen team member.More Details About the Position:Location: AUCKLANDJob Type: Full-time PermanentNumber of Positions: Up to 5Pay Rate: From $28.18 to $35 per hourDays Required: 5-6 days/weekHours per Week: Min 30, Max 60 hours per weekResponsibilities and Accountabilities:Assist the Head Chef in the preparation and cooking of food, as required.Follow direction toward portion control, cooking standards, and wastage.Wash and clean utensils and dishes, return to the kitchen and make sure they are stored appropriately.Clean food preparation equipment, floors, and other kitchen tools, or spillages when they occur.Ensure proper use of chemical/cleaning products and ensure they are stored appropriately.Follow all hygiene and Health and Safety regulations within the kitchen.Maintain a positive and motivated work ethic in the kitchen at all times.Handle, sort, store, and distribute food items.Any other duties the employer may reasonably require.Job Requirements:Prior work experience is not required but would be an advantage.A "can-do" attitude.Have an eye for detail.Self-motivated.Clean non-criminal record.If you are interested in the role, please directly apply for it!
