Are you a Sonographer looking for a new opportunity? Southland Hospital is your Golden ticket! Part-time, full-time or fixed-term positions all available. Location, location, location! About the role Our Radiology Service provides to a population of approximately 310,000 people over the lower South Island, our work is predominately emergency and inpatient cases. You'll work across all areas of ultrasound - general, vascular, paediatric, obstetric, and every other aspect you can think of. You'll also have opportunities to work alongside our Radiologists to help out on interventional procedures.

You will participate in an out of hours on call roster shared equally amongst your Sonographer colleagues.

In addition to enjoying a challenging and varied workload, you can look forward to a competitive pay rate and a culture where staff are included, valued, and respected for their expertise.Along with excellent spoken and written English, you'll need a qualification in ultrasound, as well as a current practicing certificate and to be (or able to be) registered with the NZ Medical Radiation Technologist Board (NZMRTB).Competency with te ao Maori, tikanga, and te reo Maori or a commitment to starting your journey and taking ownership of your learning and growth.Experience in projects/initiatives which give effect to Te Tiriti principles and frameworks, and the application of Matauranga Maori and Kaupapa Maori approaches, particularly as they apply in healthcare settings.If all that sounds good, there's no better time, or place, to make the next move in your career.
