Work collaboratively in a cross-functional teamFlexible working model with a mix of office and WFHAbout Us All of Government Services Delivery (AoGSD), part of the Digital Public Service Branch (DPS), brings together the functions that deliver services to or for the public sector and is responsible for an All of Government Portfolio of digital products and ICT Services (the Portfolio). We standardise and consolidate agency ICT infrastructure and services and work with the supplier market to deliver modern digital procurement models for digital and ICT. We also champion All of Government Web Standards and the use of Common Capabilities across agencies, as well as providing centralised essential information products and services.
You will be responsible for: Delivery of solution architecture for specified projects that align to business outcomes, recognised good practice, strategies and agreed principles, and optimal use of organisational technology assets and resources.Establishing, building and maintaining strong relationships across the Department and with external stakeholders to achieve trusted advisor status.Ratifying solution architectures and designs with relevant governance bodies and senior leaders to gain endorsement on technology choices and fit.We need someone who has: 5+ years' experience as a solution architect delivering complete solutions from business to the technology layer with a strong architecture background in some of the following technical domains: data, software, infrastructure, integration, cloud.A thorough understanding of Architecture development framework, architecture modelling, principles and good practices, including All-of-Government standards, and producing high quality architecture artifacts.Ability to quickly acquire a deep understanding of the complexities of designing solutions in challenging or leading-edge environments.Strong analytical skills, particularly the ability to think 'architecturally' about strategy and business environment in DIA and envision the relevant business implications and scenarios.Excellent relationship management and audience-tuned communication skills - you can work well with a diverse range of stakeholders and build strong relationships.Applications close: 5pm, 10 January 2025
