About the OpportunityAs a senior member of our team, you'll provide Solution Architecture and technical leadership to project delivery of IT solutions to business problems.
You'll have a specific focus on developing and enhancing custom / customized solutions using modern technologies, open-source software, and reusable frameworks.
As a Solution Architect you will also lead the selection, evaluation, and implementation of Commercial off the Shelf (COTS) and Software as a Service (SaaS) solutions to supplement our internally developed functionality.
You'll also support the Principal Architect roles in strategy / architecture and delivery teams creating and maintaining the Transpower ICT Portfolio Plans and Roadmaps.

What You'll BringYou have depth and breadth of experience in all aspects of ICT service design, delivery, and operations, and outstanding communication skills that allow you to engage at every level of the organisation.
You've led the technical delivery of architecturally significant and complex projects and have been accountable for the technical solution end-to-end, driving both technology and innovative business solutions to successfully deliver great enterprise outcomes! If you're comfortable working across multiple projects in addition to leading individual projects this role is right for you.

Significant experience in solution architecture, design, development, and integration of enterprise-scale applications.Hands on development experience with modern technologies.Experience and understanding of application, integration, platform, security, network, and infrastructure architectures and technologies.Experience in options analysis and selection through a commercial procurement exercise (RFI / RFPs); including implementing and handling customisation of commercial-off-the-shelf solutions.Experience in DevOps environments and designing for operations.Flexibility and adaptability to work in a changing environment and provide assistance where needed.You'll be passionate about delivery and quality and have a desire to learn and share your knowledge with others.
