Job Description - Social Worker: Community Response Coordinator (HAU02166)Social Worker: Community Response CoordinatorDo you want to be part of an organisation striving for equity in health outcomes for our community?Are you passionate about making a difference for others?Can you use experience to provide quality health social work to children, adults and their whanau/carers?If this sounds like you – we want to hear from you!We are looking for a passionate, registered social worker with the ability to be responsible for assisting the Emergency Department with safe discharges of our patients.Advanced problem-solving skills, sound reasoning ability and good judgement are all necessary in this role.You will also need to be familiar with and comfortable working with the various legislations that sit alongside the work we do.Understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and implications for practice are a must.All applicants will be subject to a police check.Situated on the eastern coast of New Zealand's North Island, Gisborne "Tairawhiti" – "The light shines on the water" is the first city in the world to see the rising sun of the new day.
