Our Organisation Te Pae Hauora o Ruahine o Tararua MidCentral (MidCentral) is part of Te Whatu Ora, Health New Zealand and provides healthcare services to over 180,000 people across the Manawatu, Horowhenua and Tararua regions. With a large hospital campus in Palmerston North, it also provides key health care and support services to neighbouring communities.
The Opportunity MidCentral District is looking for an experienced Social worker to join the team in the Horowhenua area within the Community Mental Health Addiction Services.

This role will provide high quality social work services to adults and to their families/ or whanau, others of their support network who are referred through to the Mental Health & Addictions Services - Te Matapuna o Te Ora in the community including support with transition to community based care.
The Social Worker will demonstrate a recovery focus that underpins all activities undertaken with service users, their families/ whanau, and other agencies with whom service users may be involved with. This role works across the three main adult programmes which are Unplanned Care, FACT, Time Limited Therapy.
This position is permanent, full time - 40 hours per week.
