Job Description:
Markel is seeking a talented and experienced Social Media Manager to join our team in Nelson, NZ. As a Social Media Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing our social media strategy to increase brand awareness, drive engagement, and generate leads. You will work closely with our marketing team to create compelling content, manage social media campaigns, and analyze performance metrics to optimize our social media presence.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a social media strategy to increase brand awareness and drive engagement
- Create and curate engaging content for our social media channels
- Manage social media campaigns to promote our products and services
- Monitor and analyze social media performance metrics to optimize our social media presence
- Collaborate with the marketing team to align social media efforts with overall marketing goals
- Stay up-to-date on the latest social media trends and best practices
- Build and maintain relationships with influencers and industry partners
- Respond to comments and messages on social media in a timely and professional manner
Requirements:
- 4+ years of experience in social media management
- Driven and motivated personality traits
- Strong communication skills
- Emotional intelligence
- Proven track record of managing successful social media campaigns
- Experience with social media analytics tools
- Knowledge of SEO and content marketing best practices
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field
