Marketing Communications (Marketing & Communications) Full time Responsibilities Lead our social media mahi, crafting strategies that win both heads and hearts Provide cultural leadership, ensuring our work is grounded in te ao Maori (ideally) Collaborate with an awesome team on projects ranging from hauora initiatives to environmental projects to commercial campaigns Work in true partnership with whanau and communities across Aotearoa, both online and in person Shape the future of Hemisphere's social media offerings while honouring our cultural roots What We're Looking For We need someone with a very particular mix of skills.
Skills acquired over a long career.
Skills that make you a nightmare for boring, culturally insensitive social media campaigns.
If you have: 6+ years of experience in social media marketing, with at least 3 years in a leadership role Proficiency in te reo Maori and deep understanding of tikanga Maori (ideally) A data-driven approach combined with cultural intuition and boundless creativity Confidence across all social platforms – from TikTok to LinkedIn and beyond A passion for working alongside diverse communities and translating cultural insights into engaging content The ability to bring in new business and manage key client relationships ...then we will look for you, we will find you, and we will hire you.
