Based in Melbourne, Conquest Sports partners with global brands such as Converse, Nike and Jordan kids apparel and accessories.
About the role
Reporting to the Head of Brand & Consumer, and working closely with the Digital Marketing team, the Social Media Coordinator will take the reins of our local social media accounts, with a strong focus on the strategy, planning, execution, content creation and optimisation. You will manage our third-party social media digital marketing agency, being the main conduit of schedule, assets, and performance. This role will manage the alignment of our local social strategy back with Converse global guidelines and with our paid social media partner agency to drive brand and commercial KPIs. You will have additional digital marketing responsibility encompassing consumer-facing copy writing.
Manage social media marketing strategy, across all social marketing platforms, with defined KPIs.
Build, develop and execute the social media calendar, ensuring cross-functional alignment with retail, brand and e-commerce.
Work closely with digital agency partner and Digital Marketing manager to build a robust paid social strategy inline with brand directives and company objectives to achieve agreed KPIs.
Social media community management.
Localised content creation alongside our design and creative team.
Be the conduit for social media assets, copy and timings to digital agency partner for paid campaign execution.
Understand, obsess and implement brand tone of voice across all consumer facing channels.
Conceptualise, write and proof consumer-facing copy across social media and selected on-site and CRM communications.
Build, develop and execute content calendar in conjunction with Ecomm/SEO teams.
Measure and report on all social media content, utilising insights to make future content improvements.
About you
3+ years' experience in a social media role either in house or within an agency.
Experience creating engaging, platform right content across Meta, TikTok and YouTube platforms.
Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within a fast-paced brand environment.
Previous experience in brand copywriting and tone of voice management.
Excellent knowledge of social media channels and social success metrics.
Proficient in social analytics platforms including Google Analytics, Meta Business Manager and TikTok Business Manager.
Analytical approach and capable of drawing meaningful insights from data and making recommendations to improve performance.
Strong knowledge and understanding of the footwear and street culture industries and Gen-Z/Gen-Alpha consumer.
Local/domestic hire only (on site).
