Kia hiwa!Mo matou | About us"Ko nga tangata, te matua mahi - Putting people at the heart of all we do"Te Whatu Ora, Health New Zealand, leads the day-to-day running of our health system across New Zealand, ensuring continuity of services.In Waitaha, Canterbury, we deliver health services to almost 600,000 people, committed to Te Tiriti o Waitangi and its principles, ensuring our partnership with Maori.Mo te tunga | About the roleWe are seeking a permanent, part-time or full-time SMO with experience in Fetal Medicine and High Risk Obstetrics to join our Women's Health Department.You will be part of a multidisciplinary team, including obstetricians, specialist midwifery, radiology, neonatology, and more.Starting as soon as possible.
Clinical duties are Part Time (0.75/30 hours per week) or Full Time (1 FTE/40 hours per week).
Participation in the obstetrics and gynaecology on-call roster is required.Personal Specification:Education & Qualifications - ProfessionalEssentialCertification in Maternal Fetal Medicine (CMFM) or Diploma of Diagnostic Ultrasound (DDU) or equivalent experience.Experience/KnowledgeEssentialSpecialist skills in Fetal medicine, ultrasound, counselling, and procedures.Experience in maternal medicine services alongside obstetric physicians.Proven clinical Obstetrics experience.DesiredAcute gynaecology experience including management of cervical insufficiency and miscarriage.Research and guideline development experience.About Christchurch | Living in OtautahiOtautahi, Christchurch is a great place to live and raise a family.
