Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced administrator with excellent customer service skills, previous experience administering a database system, and ideally previous administration experience within a tertiary organisation.
Key ResponsibilitiesIn this role you will contribute to administering our Tauira (Student) Management Information System (SMIS) as part of a team, providing high quality administration services to our tauira, and supporting internal customers such as academic and administration staff in our Schools. Specifically, you will:
Set up and maintain programme and course information.Maintain tauira information and timetabling information.Generate reports.Auditing is a key component of the role therefore you will have an eye for detail in supporting our tauira, staff and stakeholders by maintaining the integrity of data, and our SMIS system, by ensuring system compliance requirements are met.
Minimum RequirementsApplicants who have the following are encouraged to apply:
At least 3 years previous administration experience in a role administering an organisational wide database system.Previous experience working in a tertiary organisation, preferably with experience using a student information system.Experience with Office 365 products.Previous administration experience relevant to auditing/systems compliance.Excellent interpersonal, customer service and communication skills.The ability to co-ordinate a diverse work programme along with the ability to think critically, be analytical and identify issues, risks, and opportunities to do things differently are required.
