Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced administrator with excellent customer service skills, previous experience administering a database system, and ideally previous administration experience within a tertiary organisation.
ResponsibilitiesAdminister our Tauira (Student) Management Information System (SMIS) as part of a team.Provide high quality administration services to our tauira and support internal customers such as academic and administration staff in our Schools.Set up and maintain programme and course information, tauira information, timetabling information, and generate reports.Ensure the integrity of data and compliance with system requirements through auditing.Minimum RequirementsApplicants who have the following are encouraged to apply:
At least 3 years previous administration experience in a role administering an organisational wide database system.Previous experience working in a tertiary organisation, preferably with experience using a student information system.Experience with Office 365 products.Previous administration experience relevant to auditing/systems compliance.Excellent interpersonal, customer service and communication skills.The ability to co-ordinate a diverse work programme along with the ability to think critically, be analytical and identify issues, risks, and opportunities to do things differently are required.
Knowledge of tikanga Maori and the ability to korero Te Reo Maori is desirable, or open to learning. We offer a supportive working environment and welcome candidates from all backgrounds to apply.
