We have some exciting learning & development opportunities for motivated trainers to join our central HR Team on a fixed term basis, commencing in January 2025!
We have vacancies available in the following areas: Te Puke, Katikati, Edgecumbe, and Opotiki.
These are hands-on roles responsible for conducting site inductions and providing role specific training to our production teams to ensure they have a thorough understanding of Zespri grade standards and follow best practice fruit handling requirements for grading, packing, stacking, and tray preparation.
You will need to maintain a good understanding of production line operations to regularly conduct competency and proficiency checks, so our teams are set up to succeed!
You will also need:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
The ability to work well within a diverse workforce, including training employees where English may not be their first language.
Confidence to effectively present information to both small and large groups of people.
Problem-solving skills and the ability to react quickly to changing circumstances; a high level of resilience.
Exceptional organisational and time management skills to meet multiple deadlines.
A good understanding and awareness of health and safety obligations and lead by example.
Flexibility to work extended hours, including weekends as required.
