The Site Production Manager leads and develops total production teams. The role drives the successful delivery of all key business processes in the area based on the demand requested by Planning and Supply considering safety health and environment, quality, labour utilization, optimized cost, production execution, coordination and control. This role will lead the improvement of the plants effectiveness and performance predictability through leadership of the Production team, clear direction setting and driving performance.In this role, you will be responsible for:Embedding a strong focus on Health & Safety, driving a safety-first culture ensuring associates return home safely every day.Leading total production teams to drive and maintain GE of equipment and operating efficiencies, equipment, people, quality, and cost.Driving risk management strategies relating to safety, quality, and cost.Providing coaching and leadership to Production teams, building capability and implementing Production best practices whilst optimizing workforce management.Researching, evaluating, and recommending best in class changes or practices in production processes, systems, technology or equipment to enhance organization production capabilities.Oversight of designing and deploying reliability programs to support improvement of production efficiency and improvement.QualificationsWe're looking for someone who has the following skills and experience:At least 3 years of professional experience in a Fast-Moving Consumer Goods manufacturing managerial position, such as plant manager or production manager.Minimum of 2 years in a Leadership role with a strong focus on developing a High Performing Organization.International and/or cross-functional exposure and collaboration.Experience of change management within a factory environment to improve organization performance, including Safety and Quality.Strong understanding of budgeting with a good understanding of financial processes.Profound knowledge and experience of Operational Excellence methodologies like Total Productive Maintenance (prerequisite), Lean, and 6 Sigma.Knowledge of manufacturing software, SAP, ERP system, MS Office.Additional InformationWhat's in it for you?Enjoy half a day off on your birthday.Medical Insurance for you and your family.Income Protection and Life Insurance.Learning and development programs to support personal growth.Quarterly free staff boxes including a range of our coffee and tea brands, and access to discounted staff purchases.If so, please grab a cuppa, brush up your CV and apply now (it's really easy, we promise).
