Production, Planning & Scheduling (Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics)Full timeWe have an exciting opportunity for a Site Planner to join our team based in Edgecumbe!The key responsibilities of this role are to manage the pack plan (including special programmes) and packaging systems to ensure accuracy and alignment with the pack plan. This will require you to work closely with the site production team to set production plans to ensure orders are packed correctly.You will also be responsible for maintaining a schedule of all growers during packing operations and to assist the site operations team by ensuring our systems are fully optimised so that production runs smoothly, and grower returns are maximised.The successful applicant will need strong leadership skills, including:Excellent communication skills and able to work effectively as part of a team.Strong accuracy, problem solving and time management skills.A good level of computer literacy, particularly with Excel.Able to understand and achieve inventory management metrics and to identify how visual performance measures assist in achieving targets.Clear understanding of 6S and the ability to use as a tool to improve safety and productivity.Flexibility – understands the highs and lows of our seasons and has the ability to work extended hours and/or weekends as required.Applications will need to include a detailed cover letter and CV.** Please note that due to our annual Christmas shutdown, we will not be actioning applications until we are back on the 15th of January 2025.
