Principal Geotechnical Engineer/Manager – TCC Category 1 $140,000 - $170,000

Is a NZ owned multi-disciplinary national consultancy specialising in civil, geotechnical, structural and environmental engineering covering a diverse range of projects across the commercial, residential and industrial sectors for a range of private and public sector clients.

They have a diverse portfolio of forward work in the commercial, residential, coastal, central and local government sectors both in Tauranga and across the North Island.
Due to continued growth they have a key vacancy for a Principal Geotechnical Engineer for their busy Tauranga office. The role will either be a pure Principal function or there is also an opportunity to provide technical management of the geotechnical team if you would like to do that.

The Role
Undertake analysis and design for key projects, including those of a specialist nature and those requiring strong technical input
Senior reviews and proactive guidance to less experienced members of the team on improvements they could make
Some construction monitoring and site observations

Chartered Geotechnical Engineer
CAT1 status
