Site Operations Manager - Manaaki WhenuaFull timeManaaki Whenua - Landcare Research (MWLR) is Aotearoa New Zealand's Crown Research Institute (CRI) for our land and environment. We are responsible for supporting New Zealand to develop a sustainable relationship with our land, through the delivery of exceptional science across a wide range of disciplines.The purpose of this role is to provide effective management of the site, infrastructure and associated staff and facilities located at MWLR's Auckland site. While site management is the substantive role, there is also the opportunity to contribute to the national management and leadership of site security services.You will work in a supportive team and actively contribute to the leadership of site operations services. You will champion and lead our national site security function. Accountabilities are broad and encompass management of the facility, site/office services and people leadership, in addition to financial, project, contract, tenant and environment / health and safety risk management.This position is permanent, full time, reports to the National Manager - Site Operations, Assets and Infrastructure, and is based at our Auckland (St Johns) site.You will have the ability to work closely with the site operations team to maintain a well-run site and drive a positive experience for staff, tenants, stakeholders and visitors. You will regularly liaise with other leaders, including your site operations manager colleagues from other sites, to support development and delivery of fully compliant national facilities management services.
