Site Manager

Woodlink Limited, a growing timber processing company in Putaruru, is seeking an experienced Site Manager, or a motivated individual ready to step into a leadership role and manager our operations. We're looking for someone organized, with great attention to detail, strong leadership, and excellent communication skills. In this role, you will drive production, manage the team, and ensure a safe and efficient work environment. You'll also be tasked with achieving key business performance targets by developing people, systems, and managing KPIs related to safety, production, cost, quality, margin, and on-time delivery (DIFOT)
Key Functions Ensure safe, timely, and high-quality production standards are consistently met.Drive cultural improvements on site by fostering positive changes in processes and behaviours.Implement proactive strategies for long-term, sustainable operations and growth.Achieve and exceed key performance indicator (KPI) targets.What you will bring Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Proven ability to lead and inspire a team.Willingness to be hands-on with production when necessary.Excellent organisational skills with high accuracy and attention to detail.Strong problem solving skills.Prior experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.Experience in timber manufacturing is an advantage.NZ residency or valid NZ work permit. Woodlink offers an excellent opportunity for an individual with management experience or someone with the ambition and drive to grow into a Site Manager role.
