With some exciting projects lined up for 2025, we're looking for a capable and values-driven Site Manager to join our team. We are looking for someone who is driven, proactive, practical and has exceptional communication skills, is this you?
About the opportunity
Reporting directly to the National Delivery Manager and working closely with our Project Managers you'll take charge of site management for key commercial projects. You will oversee, coordinate and, at times, roll up your sleeves and carry out site activities to ensure that projects are completed safely, on time, within budget and to our high standards.
You'll play a critical role in managing resources, supervising sub-contractor crews, liaising with stakeholders, and swiftly addressing any challenges that arise during the construction period. You will place a real emphasis on driving everyone to get the job complete with compliance and health and safety as your number one priority.
Finally at the end of the day you will be proud to see an impressive new build with a flawless finish being handed over to our clients and their tenants. You will be recognised at Tuatara for delivering quality.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure projects are delivered on time and to Tuatara's high standard.
Health and Safety is paramount and adhered to at all times.
Liaise with clients, sub-contractors, and consultants.
Identify risks and implement strategies to minimize impact on project delivery.
Provide regular updates to senior management and clients on project status, including any challenges or delays.
About you
You will have:
Proven experience managing commercial construction projects valued at $5 - $45 million.
Exceptional communication and people management skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Procore and other relevant IT tools.
Initiative and the confidence to use this.
Advanced programming and planning skills.
