Site Manager

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Concrete and Earthworks Site Manager to join our team in Taupo.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing concrete and earthworks projects from start to finish, ensuring that all aspects of the project are completed to the highest standards of quality and safety.
Responsibilities: Oversee all aspects of concrete and earthworks projects, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution.
Coordinate with project stakeholders, including clients, engineers, architects, and subcontractors, to ensure clear communication and alignment of project goals.
Manage on-site construction teams, providing leadership, direction, and support to ensure efficient and effective project delivery.
Monitor project progress and performance, identifying and addressing any issues or delays to keep the project on track.
Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols and regulations, promoting a culture of safety among all project team members.
Ensure compliance with project specifications, drawings, and quality standards, conducting regular inspections and quality control checks.
Manage project documentation, including permits, contracts, drawings, and change orders, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records throughout the project lifecycle.
Collaborate with the project management team to develop and implement strategies for optimizing project efficiency, productivity, and profitability.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field is preferred.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in concrete and earthworks construction, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or managerial role.
Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and techniques related to concrete and earthworks projects.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
Solid understanding of safety regulations and best practices in the construction industry.
Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
