Urban Design & Planning (Design & Architecture) Full time Salary: $130k - $160k + Flexible working arrangements We have an opportunity for a Planning Team Leader to join a team of dedicated planning professionals.
We are seeking a motivated principal planner or higher who is eager to lead a high-performing planning team and is passionate about overcoming challenges to bring clients' projects to fruition.
Our client is well-established and has been enjoying a strong growth phase, now boasting multiple office locations throughout the North Island.
The suitable candidate will therefore have the option of being based in either the Hamilton, Auckland, or Tauranga offices.
Requirements Relevant bachelor's degree with ideally 10 years of experience in New Zealand Full NZPI membership is preferred Demonstrated experience in private sector planning A genuine passion for understanding specialist perspectives to achieve the best results for clients Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and regulatory frameworks Problem solver with attention to detail Commitment to delivering optimal outcomes for clients Effective communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with diverse stakeholders Capability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively Experience mentoring planners at all career levels Proven ability to collaborate on multi-disciplinary projects, sharing expertise to enhance client value.
