Site Manager | Christchurch

Role Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Construction Site Manager to oversee and coordinate sites in Christchurch and the wider region. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.
Please note you must have Site Management experience in a Tier 1-2 main contractor in NZ
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage all on-site activities, including scheduling, planning, and resource allocation.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, building codes, and quality standards.
Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution.
Monitor project progress and resolve any issues or delays that may arise.
Prepare and manage project documentation, including progress reports, site logs, and quality control records.
Conduct regular site inspections and ensure adherence to project specifications.
Maintain effective communication with clients, project stakeholders, and team members.
Lead and motivate on-site staff to achieve project goals and maintain high performance standards.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Construction Site Manager or similar role in the construction industry.
Strong knowledge of construction processes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
Excellent leadership and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Relevant qualifications in construction management or related fields (e.g., NZQA Level 4 or higher).
Valid NZ driver's license and ability to travel to different site locations.
