Beattie Air is seeking a hands-on Site Foreman with expertise in ducting and/or piping installations to lead and actively contribute to our commercial HVAC projects.This full-time role combines supervisory responsibilities with on-site installation work, requiring strong technical skills and the ability to read and interpret drawings to guide successful project execution.Reporting directly to our Project Managers, the Site Foreman will be instrumental in driving team performance, ensuring high-quality work, and keeping projects on schedule.Key ResponsibilitiesActive Onsite Work: Perform hands-on installation of HVAC systems, with a particular focus on ducting and piping, working alongside your team.Leadership: Supervise labour teams, set expectations, and foster a collaborative and motivated work environment.Drawing Interpretation: Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications, ensuring installations are executed correctly and in line with project requirements.Quality Control: Ensure all work adheres to company standards, industry regulations, and project specifications.Progress Monitoring: Track progress across multiple sites, identifying and addressing delays or quality concerns, and escalate issues to Project Managers.Performance Management: Drive team efficiency through guidance, training, and problem-solving.Resource Coordination: Manage tools, equipment, and team schedules to ensure smooth project execution.Communication: Act as the primary onsite contact, regularly updating Project Managers and liaising with other stakeholders.Health & Safety: Uphold and enforce a culture of safety, ensuring all work complies with health and safety regulations.What We OfferCompetitive salary package.Company vehicle.Exciting career development opportunities with a trusted and innovative company.The opportunity to work on a diverse range of commercial HVAC projects.Key Skills and AttributesProven hands-on experience in ducting and/or piping installations within commercial HVAC projects.Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.Strong leadership and team management abilities.High level of technical expertise in HVAC systems.Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach.Excellent communication skills for liaising with teams and Project Managers.Ability to manage multiple sites effectively.Commitment to health and safety standards.QualificationsAt least 5 years of experience in commercial HVAC installations.A valid New Zealand driver's licence.Trade qualifications in HVAC, ducting, or piping (preferred but not essential).Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality work within deadlines.
