About the role
Based at our Whangamata Depot, as the Site Coordinator you'll be involved in carrying out daily administrative and compliance activities associated with the operation of the site to service the regional cylinder market, while being fully hands-on in the delivery aspect of the site.
The key priority will be to provide the safe and efficient delivery of LPG gas cylinders to homes and businesses all around the region, ensuring the highest level of service is maintained, organizing daily delivery routes and building and maintaining strong relationships with customers.
Other responsibilities will also include:
Managing individual and team performance objectives taking into consideration seasonal demands and staffing requirements.
Ensuring distribution efficiencies are constantly reviewed and delivery schedules are rationalized.
Maintaining plant, equipment and fleet integrity to ensure all compliance obligations are met.
Completing vehicle safety checks.
Loading product onto the truck.
Delivering pre-filled LPG cylinders and taking away the empties.
About you
You have a clean and current Class 2 license with a solid driving history. You will also have:
Experience in a supervisory role is preferred.
A strong understanding and commitment to Health, Safety and Compliance within the Gas industry and experience training others.
Proven ability to self-manage your workload and others, problem-solve and make decisions.
Be physically fit, with the ability to lift heavy items when doing deliveries.
Dangerous Goods license and LPG filling experience (or be willing to undergo training).
Being flexible and adaptable with a strong focus on customer service.
Strong customer service and general administrative skills are a must, including a high level of computer literacy, proven documentation, scheduling and planning experience.
Be a team player with a can-do attitude and the flexibility to meet the demands of the operation.
Satisfactorily pass background checks such as: Criminal & ACC history, medical and Drug & Alcohol screening.
