With beautiful gardens, cafes and boutique shopping along with 200km of fishable waters, our sites offer the perfect blend of work-life balance.Our Pahiatua site specialises in producing whole milk powder that is exported to markets around the world.
During peak milking season, Pahiatua processes up to 4 million litres of milk every day.Our Longburn site specialises in supplying other Fonterra sites with raw milk, reverse osmosis retentate.About the opportunity | Te whai waahiJoining us on a 12 month fixed term contract and reporting to our Site Operations Manager, this is a great opportunity to start a career pathway with a dairy industry leader.As an integral member of both our Pahiatua and Longburn Site Lead team you will provide support and assistance to our Site Leadership team, enabling them to focus on their core activities.In this fast-paced and varied role, you will be involved in:Administration and PA support for the Site Operations Manager including attending and contributing to leadership meetings and taking minutesInduction of contractors and visitors to Site.Project coordination and delivery of a variety of projects in the people, wellbeing, and continuous improvement space.Hosting customers & internal visits to site.Site communication Champion - coordinating newsletters, organizing events and general Site communicationsManagement of applicable vendor contracts and relationships.As Longburn and Pahiatua are two of our manufacturing sites, this is a unique opportunity to gain further exposure to strategy, people engagement, planning, and health and safety.With a strong learning and development culture, this is an exceptional opportunity to take your career to the next level.
