To succeed here, you will need a high level of energy and drive together with a strong customer focus. The sales consultant's role isn't just about putting sales through the till – you'll need to lead customers through their journey: exploration, conceptualisation, and decision-making. It's an end-to-end sales role that includes sharing design ideas and product knowledge, producing quotes, confirming orders, and then placing orders with suppliers and following up on fulfilment.
First and foremost, we're looking for drive and common sense. Sales experience, design flair, and bathroom trend knowledge are preferred; however, we are looking for someone that can build long-lasting customer relationships and can show genuine customer care, attention to detail, and pragmatism.
Key responsibilities include:
Welcoming customers in the showroom, quickly getting a handle on what their needs and wants are, and steering them in the right direction.
Selling bathroom, laundry, and kitchen products.
Reviewing customer floor plans and advising suitable product options.
Producing quotes and receiving orders.
Managing the entire sales process from concepts through to pricing, order, and fulfilment.
Approaching and signing up potential new customers.
The ideal candidate will be:
A people-person with a natural drive to help customers and get on well with colleagues.
Grounded with solid common sense and ready to take the initiative.
Enthusiastic, honest, and eager to learn.
Able to handle competing priorities at pace.
Computer literate, with an emphasis on detail and accuracy.
Excellent written, verbal, listening, and communication skills.
Experience in the bathroom industry is an advantage, but full training will be provided.
